Controllers and Control Panels
Soft-Starters are electronic starters designed to accelerate, decelerate and protect three-phase induction motors, controlling the voltage applied on the motor.
Applications
Bladed Vaccum Pumps, Centrifugal Pumps, Crusher (Unloaded Starts), Screw Compressors (Relief Start), Mixers, Cellulose Refiners, Axial Fans (Low Inercia and Low Load).
Motortronics MWH Series Motor Winding Heater
The MWH Series provides a cost-effective solution to these problems by preventing condensation build-up in motors. By applying a low-level current to the motor windings during extended shut-down periods, the MWH Series keeps AC motors warm and moisture-free.
• Use On Any AC Motor
• Simple to Wire/Easy Retro
• Cost-Effective Alternative to Strip Heaters
• Protects Motors from Problems Due to Condensation Build-up
• Reliable, Maintenance-Free Operation
ABC Series Electronic Motor Brakes
Electronic braking stops the load by injecting a controlled amount of DC current into a three phase AC motor. The ABC Series “automatic braking controller” features full-wave DC braking which can be adjusted to stop your load quickly, repeatably and reliably, even if load conditions change. The ABC Series meets the three main objectives that are important in every industry: Maximized Safety, Increased Productivity and Maintenance-Free Operation.
The ABC Series is designed to eliminate dangerous coast-to-stop times of rotating machines and equipment. The ABC Series also eliminates the dangerous practice of jamming the machine to bring it to a stop, which can present potential danger to operators and passers-by alike.
The WEG CFW08 series of drives feature the compact size of a microdrive with the full functionality of much larger drives. From extensive programmable control features to flexible mounting and display options, the CFW08 has everything one needs in a small, reliable drive package.
The CFW08 series features two versions: standard NEMA 1 and N4X Wash Down duty.
The WEG CFW-09 Series of Variable Speed Drives incorporate the world’s most advanced technology in drives for three-phase AC induction motors. The Vectrue Technology™ represents a siginificant advancement, allowingthis new generation of WEG inverters to combine V/F, Sensorless Vector and Closed Loop Vector (with encoder) control techniques, all in one product. An innovation was also introduced to simplify applications that require braking torque. A new feature named Optimal Braking™ eliminates the need for the dynamic braking resistor in some applications allowing a simpler, more compact and economic solution.
The WEG Digital CFW10 VFD Series is an offspring of the very successful CFW08 Plus. In addition to a very small, easily mounted package, simplified keypad and bright LED readout, complete diagnostics and fully programmable I/O, the CFW10 controls three phase AC motors with a single phase AC input.
Single phase 120V AC input voltage will produce three phase 230V to drive motors up to 1 HP and single phase 230V AC will produce three phase 230V to drive motors up to 3 HP.
WEG is the only Brazilian supplier of medium voltage, speed variation systems that produces all the components: input cubicle, oil or dry transformer, variable frequency drive and medium voltage motor.
The MVW-01 variable frequency drive includes state-of-the-art technology through a multi-level structure with high voltage IGBTs (6.5 kV), reducing the harmonic currents in the motor to extremely low levels. The configuration of the input rectifier in 12 or 18 pulses allows high power factor in the supply network, fully compliance with IEEE 519 Standard.
In terms of control, the MVW-01 operates with micro-processing, using 32 bit processors (64 bit busbar) with high speed and pointing float mathematics, assuring great motor control performance.WEG is the only Brazilian supplier of medium voltage, speed variation systems that produces all the components: input cubicle, oil or dry transformer, variable frequency drive and medium voltage motor.
TERMEX operator panels allow flexible and cost-effective operator control and monitoring of machines and processes. They are intrinsically safe and approved for use in Zone 1 and Zone 22 hazardous areas. The operator panels are typically connected to a PLC. They also can be connected to a PC as a classic terminal application.
